The Film
Written by Giacomo Campiotti, the screenplay traces the extraordinary life of Paramahansa Yogananda, from his childhood and formative years in India to his journey across the world as a spiritual teacher and author.
The story follows Yogananda through the pivotal chapters of his life: his youth in India, his travels and teachings in the United States, his international conferences and encounters, and ultimately the creation of his spiritual center at Mount Washington in Los Angeles.
Set between India and the United States, the film moves across cultures, landscapes, and eras, portraying both the intimate and public dimensions of Yogananda’s remarkable journey.

The film’s art direction will be led by Ravi Shrivastava, whose visual approach will help create a world that moves between the spiritual richness of India and the evolving modern landscape of early 20th-century America.
